Partnering directly with Rome Labs gives you access to experts, tools, and research to further your own work or to grow your business. The Lab has state-of-the-art resources and tools that you may not be able to access elsewhere. As the facilitator, the Griffiss Institute will help you determine which partnership works best for you and to guide you through the process.

RESEARCH WITH ROME LABS
Private companies, non-federal institutions, or other government agencies can use a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) to partner with Rome Labs on shared research. Rome Labs will provide access to personnel, facilities, or equipment.
TEST YOUR PROJECT OR IDEA
Commercial Test Agreements (CTAs) allow for outside entities to test their equipment, models, software, or other projects using government laboratories for an appropriate fee. There are requirements that must be met to engage with a CTA. Reach out to learn more.
DEVELOP YOUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
Education Partnership Agreements (EPA) allow academic institutions to use AFRL/RI equipment, interact with subject matter experts, or conduct joint research.
GROW YOUR SMALL BUSINESS
Small businesses can grow our nation’s research & development through SBIR and STTR programs that allow businesses to explore new uses of their technological capabilities and business opportunities.
